Timothy Shea
Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Development

As Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Development for CompuCom Systems, Inc., Tim Shea is responsible for the Human Resources function in addition to all Corporate Development, which includes leading the company’s M&A activities as well as the corporate Legal and Facilities functions. With a strong background in finance and operations management, he has been the integration leader for CompuCom's most recent acquisitions.

Shea originally joined CompuCom in 2005, and has held positions of increasing scope and responsibility in that time. His first order of business was leading the successful integration of CompuCom with the GE IT Solutions business and managing that transition. Prior to joining CompuCom, Shea was Senior Vice President, Portfolio Operations and Principal for Platinum Equity, a global merger, acquisitions, and operations firm. In that role, he managed transition projects and guided the ongoing portfolio management of a number of Platinum Equity portfolio companies based in the United States and Europe. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2001, Shea served as the Chief Financial Officer for Aptis, Inc. Prior to his tenure with Aptis, he served as Interim Vice President of Finance and Global Managing Director of Financial Services for Sabre, Inc.

Shea holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in Finance and Management. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in management science from the University of Central Texas and a bachelor’s degree in government and history from the University of Notre Dame. Shea is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
