IBM's Passport Advantage program offers your organization a way to do worldwide volume licensing of IBM distributed software, and includes software from IBM's DB2, WebSphere, Lotus, and Tivoli software brands. This complete, flexible offering covers licenses and Software Maintenance (Software Subscription and Technical Support) for IBM's distributed software products. Software Subscription ensures that your organization will always have access to the latest technology. Technical Support will keep your users up and running regardless of where they are conducting business throughout the world. With the Passport Advantage program, you can choose to acquire software licenses and Software Maintenance services on a per-product basis, or by using user-based solution packages. Whether you are a small company buying software with an eye to the future, a department within a company, or even a multinational, decentralized enterprise, Passport Advantage includes options that will meet your needs.

Passport Advantage Details
Passport Advantage gives clients of all sizes access to all commercial-eligible product license and Software Maintenance services, with the exception of the CEO Product Categories. A small branch office purchasing just a few licenses in Madrid will receive the same discount as the headquarters location in California. Passport Advantage also includes a perpetual agreement, which does away with the need to periodically renew in order to continue to participate in the program.

All products in the Passport Advantage program include an associated point value. For a new member of the program, the Relationship Suggested Volume Price Level (RSVP) is determined by the initial purchase. At each anniversary, the client's purchases for the previous twelve months are automatically reviewed and the new RSVP Level is established according to how many Passport Advantage points were acquired during that period.

Each license acquired under the Passport Advantage program also includes Software Maintenance.

Software Maintenance features and benefits include the following:
