Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure – Dallas, TX

More than 40 CompuCom associates, along with their friends and families, participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. There were over 35,000 race participants in the 5K fun run and walk which benefits breast cancer research.

Pueblos de Quebradas y Calle Vargas Children's Charity Event

From December 1-6, a team of associates from our Costa Rica office collected toys to donate to the Pueblos de Quebradas y Calle Vargas Children's Foundation which helps underprivileged children. Our associates also volunteered their time to help with a holiday party that provides the children with music, games, food and lots of fun.

Toys for Tots Toy Drive – Dallas, TX

During the week of December 5-9, CompuCom hosted a toy drive to the annual U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots toy drive in Dallas. All toys and money collected have been donated directly to the USMC Toys for Tots campaign.

In September and December, CompuCom's Dallas headquarters team hosted two associate blood drives in conjunction with the American Red Cross. The Dallas team holds quarterly blood drives.

Our Dallas headquarters team collected cash donations, personal care items and non-perishable boxed and canned food November 14-18 to benefit the North Texas Food Bank.

11-11-11 Reading Campaign – Dallas, TX

A team of volunteers from our Dallas headquarters participated in a reading campaign on November 11 at a local elementary school. Volunteers read to students for a minimum of 11 minutes.

Hunger Walk – Cincinnati, OH

On November 5, a team of associates from our Cincinnati area office, along with some friends and family members, participated in the Fighting Hunger 5K hosted by the Matthew 25 Ministries organization. Entry fees and pledges are used to provide food for needy families.

Childhaven's 10th Annual Auction and Dinner

In November 2011, CompuCom hosted Childhaven's 10th Annual Auction and Dinner. This year's event raised a record $700,000. Childhaven is a nonprofit organization in King County, WA that provides long-term healing for children and families. Visit http://www.childhaven.org for more information.

Gloucester County Autism Walk 2011 – New Jersey

On October 1, a team from CompuCom's Paulsboro, NJ location participated in the three-mile Gloucester County Autism Walk 2011 in West Deptford, NJ. Proceeds from the Gloucester County Autism Walk benefit children and families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder. CompuCom associates joined the “Pulling for Patrick” Team to raise money for this charity and awareness about autism spectrum disorders.
