A letter from President Mick Slattery

Dear customers and partners,

These are difficult times, and we face unprecedented challenges in the weeks and months ahead. However, it comforts me to know I lead a company that can help other organizations lessen the impact of the situation. I want to reassure you CompuCom is here to serve your needs.

Because we’re a leader in providing digital workplace solutions and assisting our customers to define the future of work, CompuCom is well-positioned to help. We, ourselves, are a dispersed virtual workforce, so we understand the requirements and challenges of keeping business moving when workers are remote. We’ve also worked to increase our own work from home usage to protect our ability to continue to serve customers in an uninterrupted fashion. Our senior management and our Crisis Emergency Response Team meet daily to address this fluid situation. Our actions will continue to be guided by the recommendations of public health authorities, our business continuity plan, and the needs of our customers and associates.

Over the past few weeks, our Service Desk staff has been working diligently to support the thousands of workers who suddenly find themselves working from home—in many cases for the first time. To assist customers in their efforts to transition to a remote workforce, we’ve been asked to configure and distribute thousands of devices to get employees back up and contributing remotely and then support those employees’ IT needs.

As companies ask employees to work from home on a scale never seen before, many of our clients are asking how they can quickly scale up remote work capabilities. We're happy to share our expertise connecting people, technology, and the edge with a seamless experience.

The trend towards more remote work was already on a fast track, and CompuCom has led from the front, adopting flexible working arrangements along with collaboration and communication technologies that enable our employees to contribute from remote locations. We're here to help you stay focused on keeping your people healthy while we stay focused on keeping you connected.

Thank you,

Mick Slattery
President, CompuCom
