Steve Salmon is Senior Vice President of Wholesale Services at CompuCom, and is responsible for the Wholesale services strategy & business development activities. The Wholesale unit was launched in 2018 and is focused on rapid top-line growth through strategic acquisitions and new logo sales.
Steve joined CompuCom in 2005, and during his tenure has held numerous business development, sales and solution leadership positions. Previously, he led Global Sales Operations, where he was responsible for sales operations, enablement and solutions. While in this role Steve successfully led a comprehensive sales transformation initiative. Prior to that, Steve led Global Solution Sales where he was responsible for the global presales technical, bid and proposal and the solution architect teams. Under Steve’s leadership, the solution team completed several evolutions including expansion into India and Mexico.
Prior to CompuCom, Steve held technical, sales and sales leadership positions with CenterBeam and StealCloud. Before that, he was the co-owner of Solutions That Make Sense (STMS) based in Reston, Virginia. STMS was a regional IT service provider that was acquired by StealCloud. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from James Madison University.
