Getting a Break on Break-Fix

Tech-Zone partners with leading technology vendors, such as Dell® and HP®, to help businesses procure the right technologies. But McMillan is quick to point out that Tech-Zone technicians can service virtually every brand.

Tech-Zone also offers some of the latest devices for sale, like the forthcoming HP Elite X3 smartphone/tablet. And some locations will include options such as 3D scanning and 3D printing.

Tech-Zone is also focused on clear pricing. “Unclear costs for IT services and repairs have long been an issue for SMBs,” McMillan notes. “So we’ve established flat rates for common repairs, and we tell you how much it will cost before we fix it.”

The flagship Tech-Zone store opened in Charlotte, N.C., in April. Three other stores in the Charlotte area are also up and running. “The goal is to roll out about 500 stores across the country over the next two to three years,” McMillan says.

“Especially for enterprises with smaller offices or remote employees who don’t have easy access to corporate IT support, Tech-Zone is an ideal solution,” McMillan says.

Enterprises have access to many of the same Tech-Zone solutions as SMBs. Enterprise employees can stop into Tech-Zone to consume services. Or, Tech-Zone technicians can be dispatched on-site.
